Eurotour stop 1 France

Eurotour in France,

For everybody that doesn’t know the Eurotour, there are 7 tournaments a year and Eurotour keep a ranking based on those tournaments. I am ranked no. 12 now I don’t really like that spot, top 15 players don’t differ much in points. So if you make it to the final of a Eurotour stop you could easily get in to the top 3.

A pretty tough draw for me in the first round. Ivica Putnik on the TV-table I beat him 10 to 6, Had to play Murat Ayas in the next round I played really poor and got behind 9-3 was able to get back to 9-9 but didn’t manage to win the match.

LosersRound: had to win 5 matches in a row on 1 day to qualify for the last 32. I played really good this day and won all 5 matches. After a long day I felt strong and thought I could win the tournament if I kept playing like this.

On the final day i had to play my Mosconicup 2006 mate David Alcaide. Started of very well and took an early 7-3 lead. A miss on the 7 ball and I didn’t get to the table till 8-7 behind. When the score was tied at 9-9 I had a very tough shot on the 9ball. Made it but had to avoid the corner pocket and didn’t, aaaaaaaaaargh. 17th place.
